Van 12 tot 19 maart heeft het DGTF Education Centre in samenwerking met de WGTF of Bulgaria een level III Cursus verzorgd in Bulgarije. Op de prachtige Pirin Golf & Country Club in Bansko direct aan de skipiste hebben drie aspirant leden van de WGTF of Bulgaria in een zware cursus een belangrijke stap gezet op weg naar een Level III Certificering. De cursus is door Master Teaching Profesisonal Edward J. Verstraten gegeven en de examens zijn door Dravko Dachev, secretaris van de WGTF of Bulgaria afgenomen. De theorie vakken t.a.v de rules zijn door Gert-Jan de Wit gedoceerd. 

Alle deelnemers, Bojan Stojanov,  Ivan Topalov en Yanko Gubarov  hebben de opleiding met meer dan gemiddeld resultaat doorlopen. Wij zijn er van overtuigd dat zij een aanwinst zullen zijn voor de Pirin Golf & Country Club en dat zij met hun verworven kennis en teaching skills van grote betekenis zullen zijn voor de Bulgarian Golf Teachers Federation en hun toekomstige leerlingen. De week is afgesloten met een gala diner, waar Ilko Yotzev, voorzitter van de WGTF of Bulgaria en Manya  Kosanova, manager van de Pirin Golf & Country Club aanwezig waren. Later dit jaar zullen aanvullend op de Level III cursus door het DGTF Education Centre Biomechanica en Clubfitting voor golfprofessionals worden verzorgd.

De Pirin Golf & Country Club is een uniek resort aan de rand van de populaire wintersportplaats Bansko. Het complex telt ruim 140 appartementen in diverse gebouwen, verschillende café`s,  restaurants, een vier sterren hotel met zwambad en spa faciliteiten en een bijzonder fraai clubhuis met uitzicht over de bergen van het Pirin natuurreservaat. Een unieke locatie waar men op dezelfde dag kan skieen in de bergen bij Bansko en in de middag genieten van een spectaculaire ronde golf.

Van 3 t/m 7 mei zal op de Pirin Golf & Country Club een European Golf Teachers Tournament worden gespeeld  met als hoofdsponsor IBM. Er worden ruim 80 internatonale deelnemers, gasten en genodigden verwacht.

De Bulgarian Golf Teachers Federation is één van de jongste Europese zusterorganisaties van de WGTF. De WGTF of The Netherlands en het DGTF Education Centre ondersteunen de Bulgarian Golf Teachers Federation bij het opleiden van professionals en de inrichting van de vereniging.

  From March 12 to 19, the DGTF Education Centre in cooperation with the WGTF of Bulgaria has organized a level III course in Bulgaria. At the beautiful Pirin Golf & Country Club in Bansko, three aspiring members of the WGTF of Bulgaria in a heavy course put a major step towards a Level III Certification. The students were trained by by Master Teaching Professional Edward J. Verstraten and examined Dravko Dachev, chairman of the Bulgarian Golf Teachers Federation. The theoretical subjects, etiquette and rules were educated by Gert-Jan de Wit, GVB examiner and Rules commissionaire.  

All participants,  Bojan Stojanov,  Ivan Topalov en Yanko Gubarov  passed with a wonderful result. We are confident that with their knowledge and teaching skills they will be of great value to the Pirin Golf & Country Club and that they will be of great significance for the WGTF of Bulgaria and their future students. The week ended with a gala dinner, where Mr. Ilko Yotzev, chairman of the WGTF of Bulgaria,  Manya Kosanova, manager of the Pirin Golf & Country Club were present to attend the official certification. Later this year, in addition to the Level III course, the DGTF Education Centre will organize additional courses in Biomechanics and Club Fitting for golf professionals.

From May 3 to 7, a European Golf Teachers Tournament will be played at the Pirin Golf & Country Club, sponsored by IBM. Over 80 international competitors and guests are expected to attend the tournament.

The WGTF of Bulgaria is one of the youngest European sister organizations WGTF.  The WGTF of The Netherlands and DGTF Education Centre support the WGTF of Bulgaria in training of professionals and the establishment of the Federation.
